Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about pricing, scheduling, service, payments, and what to expect on cleanup day.
How much does weekly service cost?
Weekly service starts at about $23 per week for one dog. Pricing varies based on the number of dogs and service details.
Enter your ZIP code to see your exact price instantly.
How do I pay?
Payments are handled securely through your TailSweepers client portal.
When you sign up, you'll be able to add a debit or credit card to your account. Your portal also gives you access to your invoices, payment history, and scheduled services.
Recurring weekly service is billed automatically on the 1st of each month before services are provided.
What happens if I start service in the middle of the month?
If you begin recurring service after the 1st, you'll pay for your initial cleanup, if one is needed, plus the remaining scheduled weekly visits for that month.
After that, your regular monthly service payment will be processed on the 1st of each month.
For example, if your weekly plan is $100 per month and you start halfway through the month, you'll only be charged for the remaining recurring visits rather than another full month of service.
When will I be charged?
Recurring weekly customers are billed on the 1st of every month before that month's services are provided.
Initial cleanups and one-time services are billed separately.
A valid payment method must remain on file for recurring service.
What time will you arrive?
We schedule customers by service day rather than an exact appointment time. This allows us to build efficient routes and keep service dependable.
Your regular service will normally occur on the same day each week.
You'll receive a text notification approximately 60 minutes before we arrive, followed by another notification when your cleanup is complete.
If you're one of the first stops of the day, your advance notice may be shorter.
Do I have to be home?
No.
As long as we can safely access your yard, you don't need to be home during your cleanup.
Please make sure gates are unlocked and we're able to enter the service area on your scheduled day.
What happens after you finish?
We'll let you know when your service is complete.
We also provide a gate photo so you have confirmation that your gate was secured after the visit.
Do you sanitize your equipment?
Yes.
We sanitize our equipment between properties to help prevent anything from being carried from one yard to another.
Clean equipment and responsible service practices are part of every TailSweepers visit.
Do you take the dog waste with you?
No.
After your yard is cleaned, the collected waste is securely bagged and placed in your outdoor trash receptacle.
This allows us to keep our vehicles sanitary and our service efficient while still leaving your yard clean.
Please make sure your outdoor trash bin is accessible on your service day.
What if my trash bin isn't accessible?
If we're unable to access your trash receptacle, we'll securely bag the collected waste and place it in an appropriate location near your gate or designated service area.
For the smoothest service, we recommend keeping your outdoor trash bin accessible on cleanup day.
What should I do with my dog while you're cleaning?
We’re happy to work with friendly dogs in the yard.
If your dog is aggressive, overly protective, or prevents us from safely cleaning the property, we’ll make reasonable attempts to contact you so the dog can be brought inside.
If we’re unable to safely complete the cleanup because of a dog, the scheduled visit will still be charged. We’ll return on your next scheduled service day and take care of the additional buildup then.
What if my gate is locked?
Please make sure we have access to your yard before your scheduled visit.
If the gate is locked or we're otherwise unable to access the yard, we'll contact you. To keep our route running on schedule, we may not be able to wait for access or return later that same day.
Do you clean in the rain?
A little Louisiana rain usually doesn't stop us.
We generally continue service during light rain when conditions are safe. Severe weather, lightning, flooding, or other unsafe conditions may require us to adjust the schedule.
If your service is affected, we'll communicate with you.
Do you offer one-time cleanups?
Yes.
You don't have to be a recurring customer to use TailSweepers.
One-time cleanups are great for overdue yards, parties, move-ins, move-outs, or simply getting your yard back under control.
Pricing is based on the condition of the yard and other service details.
Do you service apartments, HOAs, and commercial properties?
Yes.
TailSweepers works with apartments, HOAs, property managers, communities, and other properties that need dependable pet waste removal.
Commercial and community properties receive customized pricing based on the size of the property, service frequency, number of pet areas, and cleanup needs.
